The gabby girls (my on-line waiting for TA's girl friends) and I got together last night for some prayer time. It was really refreshing and helped each of us refocus on the Lord and not so much on our illusive TAs' Anyway this is something I shared with them:

As I was reading my devotion tonight preparing for our prayer time I came across this:

"God answered their prayers because they trusted him,"
1 Chronicles 5:20
God answers our prayers. What God does not do is this: He does not always answer our prayer as soon as we might like, and he does not always answer our prayers by saying, "Yes." God isn't an order-taker and he is not some sort of cosmic vending machine. Sometimes--even when we want something very badly our Heavenly Father responds to our request by saying, "No," and we must accept his answer even if we don't understand it.
God answers prayers not only according to our wishes but also according to His master plan. We cannot know that plan, but we can know the Planner...and we must trust His wisdom, His righteousness and His love. Always.

Then, on the very next page was this scripture verse:

Ask, and God will give to you. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will open for you. Yes, everyone who asks will receive. Everyone who searches will find. And, everyone who knocks will have a door opened.
Matthew7:7-8

We have all been searching on our own and as we come together tonight and the Lord hears our prayers the doors will be opened. He has watched as we have all walked this path. He has guided all of us to this specific place and time together. He has worked miracles in the lives of our sons and daughters and he is working harder than ever to unite us with our children soon. As we go about our daily grind let us remember that there is nothing too hard for the Lord. He will fix the paperwork and unite Sharon and Mark with Hudson, He will give us all peace in our hearts when the hustle and bustle of packing and traveling finally comes. He will provide the remaining money necessary to unite us with Abby Grace and He will guide us all safely to China and to our final destinations.

Girls I am so excited to be with you all on this journey, You all are a great source of inspiration and support. I thank God everyday for bringing each one of you into my life. I will pray for you all and I can't wait to meet you all in a few weeks.

Today many prayers have been answered. No, we did not get our TA yet but we did receive a nice donation from our church. It will be wonderful to be able to present this donation to Ms. Yang and Ping Liang SWI. For those of you that don't know a lot about Ping Liang, it is in one of the poorest provinces in China. The average worker makes the equivalent of $200 US dollars per year. PER YEAR! We easily blow that at the mall or at Wal-Mart. The children in PL SWI are mostly special needs. Most of those SN are CL/CP. The water is Ping Liang is not very clean yet the residents of PL have to use it for drinking, cooking and bathing. The water could be to blame for the majority of the SNs that effect these children. We are taking with us medical supplies to donate to the SWI as well. The air quality of PL is awful. Very hazy. Many of the children have respiratory problems so we have nebulizer tubing and masks to donate. An adoptive mother from PL, Ann, organized the donations, we are merely the transportation to get them there.

Til next time, thanks be to God for all he has done. To him we give the glory!!!

It truly was a special time of prayer and your devotion of right on the point for our time with our Redeemer. It is hard to wait. We finally got our TA on day 42. I am so blessed to be one of the gabby girls! God has placed all together at this time for a reason. Looking forward with great anticipation to the 27th!
